Micr0needling with SkinPen
SkinPen Precision is the first FDA-cleared and Health Canada-approved micro-needling device approved in Canada for use on the face and body areas. SkinPen micro-needling creates controlled micro-injuries to stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing process while minimizing cellular damage. The result is effective in remodelling scar tissue, tightening and resurfacing the skin, minimizing large pores, and helping improve product absorption, all while keeping the skin's overall structure intact. SkinPen micro-needling increases the production of collagen and other healing factors by causing trauma to the skin. Collagen is an essential protein that helps keep the skin looking youthful, with a firm, smooth, and stretchy texture.
There are three phases to the wound repair process:
-
Phase I: Inflammation. Piercing the skin triggers your immune system to cleanse the wound, remove debris, increase blood flow and begin to create new tissue.
-
Phase II: Proliferation. The wound is rebuilt with new granulation cells, which are part of the extracellular matrix. Additionally, a new network of blood vessels develops.
-
Phase III: Remodeling. The wound is replaced with new dermal tissues and blood vessels.

Most patients will continue to see improvement in their skin for six months or more; however, the effects of the treatment can last for 10 to 12 months. Patients will notice a rejuvenated glow even as the pigmentation, dark circles, scars and marks start to fade.
-
The clinical evolution of Mesotherapy data suggests that most clients achieve their goal in the treated area on average; clients see more results after three micro-needling treatments. The number and interval between sessions will depend on personalized analysis of your skin, the treated areas, lifestyle and habits.
